Some birds enjoy the company of people and like having a family, while others are more wild, dangerous, or special in a way that prevents them from living under normal household conditions. Both types of birds can, and need to be "adopted!"

One option is to open your heart and home to a bird in need of a family. You would be taking a little life into your house, and become their flock.

The other choice is to sponsor a bird who does not belong in a home, and will need a lifetime of specialized care.

While it can be challenging, forming a friendship with a bird can also be incredibly rewarding. We are here to teach you all about the good, the bad, and the ugly, and help you prepare your home and life for a new addition!
